Hey everyone! I just got my very first SAT scores back and…I got a 1060! I’m not super proud of my score, I could do better, I’m taking the SAT again in December. Considering I forgot my calculator and was in full total panic mode while taking the test, I think I did pretty well! (Tip: REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR CALCULATOR!!!!)

Hello everyone! This is the first post on my new blog. I’m just getting this new blog going, so stay tuned and follow me on my journey as a NCSSM applicant and hopefully a student in the near future. Subscribe below to get notified when I post new updates.
About The Blog
Hello everyone! My name is Rose Winters and I am the creator of this blog for students who are currently applying or planning on applying to NCSSM. Let’s start with telling a little bit about myself and why I decided to create this blog.
I’m a current sophomore NCSSM applicant from district 11. While looking for advice on applying for NCSSM, I came across a few blogs and discussion forums created by NCSSM applicants and students which were pretty helpful but most of them were from the early 2000’s. So I decided to make a more updated and recent blog for all the current and upcoming applicants.
Now let’s answer the question, why do I want to get in to NCSSM residential? For me, my reason for applying to residential is because I like a challenge…also I want to major in veterinary medicine at NCSU and need all the biologies and chemistries I can take, and my school doesn’t really offer much sciences.
I hope you find this blog usually and decide to follow my journey as an applicant and I hope eventually a student.
